SEVENTH
HEAVEN

Leeds-based agency, Lucre, now one of the UK’s fastest growing PR and event management companies, is celebrating a successful seven months in business with the arrival of a seventh team member, PR account executive Dan Connell.

Dan, a graduate with a degree in Public Relations from Leeds Metropolitan University, joins Lucre having gained experience in industries spanning fashion, leisure, IT, entertainment and education and recently spent a year with Volkswagen UK, acquiring enhanced media relations skills and the ability to develop PR strategies at the highest level.

Dan said: “This is a great opportunity for me to increase my repertoire of skills in a consultancy environment, working alongside some of the best in the business.

“I am confident that I have much to offer all of my assigned clients and will be looking to deliver the results our partners expect and on which our promises are built.”

With an impressive rate of client acquisition since trading began in April, Dan can expect his career to flourish along with the fortunes of his new employer.

Lucre’s astonishing rate of growth can be explained by the company’s founding partners being well established practitioners in the PR and Marketing arena. Managing Directors Sophie Spyropoulos and Tamarind Wilson, along with Associate Director Adrian Johnson, are former Poulter Group colleagues, each having previously held boardroom-level positions with previous agencies.

Specialist knowledge and experience in the travel and leisure industry proved invaluable in the company’s gestation period and equated to the acquisition of several major clients. Retained clients now include Jet2.com, Leger Holidays, Best Western, QHotels, Bailey Teswaine and The Chambers.
