Lucre, one of the UK’s fastest growing PR and event management agencies, has been appointed by well-known Irish entrepreneur and businesswoman, Kay Cogan, to handle publicity for ARTfund, a new global concept in affordable art investment.

The international fund aims to open up the art market to potential investors for as little as £100 a month, with art specialists using pooled capital to create a collection of works based around the most exciting, emerging artistic talent.

The brainchild of Kay Cogan, ARTfund will initially be anchored in Cork, London and Brisbane, with supporting galleries in each of the three cities. Lucre will be co-ordinating the PR strategy internationally.

In addition to offering a credible investment alternative which is proven to earn members up to eight times their fund value over a three year period, ARTfund will also loan works from the fund collection, present and support artists through a series of ongoing exhibitions and also educate investors and keep them informed on emerging talent to watch out for.

The aim of the fund is to capitalise upon the exponential capital growth experienced by emerging artists whilst allowing investors to enter into the art community for a very modest outlay.
